About Us

The Honoring a Life memorial tree program was created to give those who are grieving the option of a deeply symbolic gesture to honor their loved one. Our program represents the continuity of life and recognizes the value in nature. There is undoubtedly a connection between all those that use the service, as well as those who are honored by it.

We understand how important it is to deal with loss. Honoring a Life gives you the opportunity to turn your loss into a gift, not only for yourself but for the planet as a whole. Our program also allows you to plant as many trees as you'd like on behalf of your loved one, allowing you to continuously contribute to their living legacy.

A Global Initiative

Thanks to the reach of our partnerships, we are able to plant trees all across North America. Your memorial tree will be planted in the area of greatest need as assessed by the national forest groups.

Our Mission

Giving back to the environment to help combat the negative effects of climate change is the number one priority of Honoring a Life. We strive to make a noticeable impact across North America which will not only impact those who use the service emotionally, but also educate and inform the public on the benefits of reforestation.

Our Mission
Why Plant a Memorial Tree?

Memorial trees are an outstanding way to honor your loved one and provide a tribute that is as unique as the individual. A single tree contributes to air and water purification, soil restoration, climate change mitigation, and more. These environmental benefits that memorial trees provide are surpassed only by the emotional ones.
